Whiskey Table

The Whiskey Table is intended for small apartment living conditions and narrow walkways. Utilizing the structural strength of triangular forms, this table was designed to be assembled and disassembled with an Allen key for flatpack transportation. With an overall width of 300mm and length of 1200mm, the Whiskey Table is a dynamic and elegant console that makes use of minimal space in compact living enviroments.

utilizing custom corner brackets and countersunk nuts, the angles of this table hide many of the fastening points and joints to create a more visually appealing product.

During the early design and prototyping stage of this table, I discovered the importance of bracket location and hole alignment as the table was required to be sturdy, aesthetically unobtrusive, and simple to assemble. This project also pushed my practical metal working skills as the manufacture of the custom brackets and feet proved to be troublesome with the limited tools at hand.
